Privacy Statement
How we handle personal information. Last updated 9 October 2026.
Who We Are
OneNet AI Limited ("OneNet AI", "we", "us") is a New Zealand company based in Herne Bay, Auckland. This statement explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information through onenetai.co.nz, our forms and our Free AI Assessment, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What We Collect
When you use a form on this website, we collect what you enter:
- Talk to an AI Expert: your name, work email, organisation, role and organisation size, the topics you choose, preferred times and any message.
- Free AI Assessment sign-up: your name, work email, organisation, role and organisation size, and the referral code if you followed a link that included one.
When your organisation takes the Free AI Assessment, we collect information about how AI is set up and used in your organisation, through read-only access your administrator approves and a short questionnaire. This includes settings, counts, sharing information and usage figures. It can include the names of staff, for example the people who use Microsoft 365 Copilot or AI agents most, and any screenshots your team uploads. The assessment never reads prompts, conversations, emails or file contents.
When you visit the website, Google Analytics collects information about your visit, such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location and your device and browser. When you email us, we keep the email and your contact details.
How We Use It
- To respond to your request and arrange a conversation.
- To set up and run your Free AI Assessment, prepare your report, and contact you about it.
- To prevent spam and abuse of our forms.
- To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for purposes unrelated to why you gave it to us.
Who We Share It With
We use the following service providers to run the website and the Free AI Assessment. They process personal information on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Microsoft Azure: hosts the website, the forms and the Free AI Assessment, and sends our emails.
- Anthropic: its Claude AI writes parts of the assessment report from the assessment's findings, and reads screenshots your team uploads.
- Google: Google Analytics measures how the website is used.
- Cloudflare: provides our domain name service and Turnstile, which checks that a sign-up comes from a person, not a bot.
We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it.
Storage Outside New Zealand
The Free AI Assessment stores its data in Microsoft Azure in New Zealand. Our emails are processed in Microsoft Azure in Australia. The website is hosted in Microsoft Azure in Asia and served through its global network. Anthropic, Google and Cloudflare may process information in other countries, including the United States.
Where personal information is processed overseas, we use providers that are bound to protect it in ways comparable to the Privacy Act 2020.
Cookies and Analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart and measure how the website is used. Cloudflare Turnstile may also use cookies on the Free AI Assessment sign-up form to check you're not a bot. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The website still works without them, though the sign-up form needs Turnstile.
How Long We Keep It
- Free AI Assessment data, including the collected data, uploaded screenshots, findings and the report, is deleted 30 days after the report is sent.
- Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 7 days. Sign-up records are otherwise deleted after 30 days, or 60 days while waiting for approval.
- Contact details and correspondence are kept while we have a business relationship, or for as long as we need them for the purpose they were collected.
- Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.
How We Protect It
All traffic to the website, forms and Free AI Assessment is encrypted. Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it, and the Free AI Assessment uses read-only access that your administrator approves and can remove at any time.
Your Rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, by emailing support@onenetai.co.nz. We'll respond as soon as reasonably practicable, and within the time the Privacy Act 2020 allows. You can also ask us to delete your Free AI Assessment data sooner.
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your personal information, contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
